Regeneration
Sicca can be regenerated multiple times. Dry the saturated silica gel to restore its original color.
Oven method
- Spread the silica gel in a thin layer on a tray.
- Dry for 1–2 hours at 110–120 °C.
- Let it cool completely before storing.
Microwave method
- Place silica gel in a microwave-safe container.
- Dry in short 2–3 minute intervals and check the color.
- Do not leave the microwave unattended.
Safety tips
- Do not exceed 130 °C.
- Let the silica gel cool completely after regeneration.
- Store regenerated silica gel in a dry, sealed container.
